Namma Manne – Sustainable Housing for a Cause

The Plastics For Change India Foundation – along with partners The One Movement & Bamboo House – recently launched the Namma Manne project. The project focuses on converting hard-to-recycle plastic waste into building material – used to construct low-cost shelter for informal waste collectors.

The pilot for this project has been successful with the first house made from plastic waste being completed in Karnataka, India. And the foundation plans to build many more.
